Between a small pillar and the cliff there is a part thats underwater but only by a little bit. They are the same colour as the ground there on and usually close to a wall, not out in the open.įor people who dont have first-aid and have to eat, ive found a kind of safe spot if you clear like 1 or 2 mobs. The plants underwater were hard for me to find at first. The elementals can aggro from pretty far away. Clear th mobs around the plant so you dont get unwanted pulls when trying to open.

The plants are found mostly underwater but you can find an odd few around the edge of the water. My 28 rogue never got below 50% even when i took on 2 at a time (evasion). But i think all in all they are pretty easy if you have burst damage. It lowers your chance to hit by 30%.īoth mobs are slow but strong hitters and they crit a lot more than usual. The Boiling Elementals have a 10 debuff called Steam Jet. Order now at Available on all digital platforms. The Scalding Elementals, to me, are a little bit stronger than the Boiling Elementals They can use Scald which is a 3 second stun. The official lyric video for 'All Shall Burn' from ELEINEs new EP 'All Shall Burn', released November 22nd 2019. Don't try to use Mana Shield, it really doesn't work very well these things hit hard enough that you'll deplete your mana pool very rapidly.Ĭomment by 271474Their moves are confirmed. Always open at max range to get as much DPS in before it reaches you.ĥ. After this, you're using Arcane Missiles or Arcane Explosion only - it's fire resist is high enough that you don't want to cast fire spells, at the same time, being as you can cast fireball/pyroblast before it aggros you, it just acts as a little bonus opening damage. Always pull with Fireball (or pyroblast if you have it). Make sure you're facing a good direction to Blink into. The reason being, you can and should Blink out of its stun, but as you're stunned, you can't change direction. When you fight the elemental, make sure you're facing a direction that's clear. It reduces all damage dealt by the elementals.Ģ. This is of course just my opinion, but this worked very well for me and I completed the quest with little difficulty after adopting these methods:ġ. However, after several tries, I came up with a strategy that works well to solo this, even as a 0/0/x pure frost mage (for all the good those talents do you here, you might as well be 0/0/0.). As in, every talent point you have is basically useless, and the traditional frost mage methods of snare and kite are impossible as this is immune to frost. I’ll have more to write in the coming days, but if you have nothing else to do you should pick up The Secret World. I can’t believe I’m saying that.Comment by 104447This quest sucks as a frost mage.  I hear there are many more quests like this, and even better, to look forward to as we progress. The thinker quest was something completely different from what I have -ever- experienced in a MMORPG. It was immersive, fun, and had us forgetting that we were playing a game about progressing/leveling up. I can’t speak for anything about the game beyond this point, but at least in this one particular moment we had a good time. What I want to post about is a quest we did that required some thinking. Spoilers ahead for one of the side quests, so if you’re totally into having one of the very first “thinker” quests all to yourself then stop reading this paragraph and skip to the next. We took a quest that told us to go to the point of the pyramid, which turned out to be a location on the map. Then we had a riddle about fairies and it turned out to be the wisp wood. Then we had to find the buzzing and flowers blooming out of season, which turned out to be the location we first entered the zone. The quest lead us throughout the zone with tons of riddles and we spent at least an an hour thinking through the clues.

We’ll write more in Sunday’s Adventure Log, but I want to hop on an give you all a quick update on where we’re at with TSW. I think we’re both finally happy with our characters. It took remaking a few times, but we’ve finally settled on me being a Blade/Hammer spec, and Graev going Assault Rifles/Blood.
